A retired drok's runner (whom I didn't and still don't know) gave me about 700k worth of stuff including 55 ectos because I pc'd something of his on a forum.

I was like thx

(He had actually quit the game awhile ago, he randomly popped back up to see if his crystalline had held its value or something... in any case, he seemed quite pleased with himself about how happy it made me )

Ehehe currently running my P/mo in Prohecies and while I can do most missions/quest with my 3 heros I always add 2 humans to help them aswell, why not, not there for the drops just to do the quests and missions and some people need help, no charge. Good to have some company and show some people some tips aswell.

Did Villian of G so many times just helping people out or running them to ToA, dont ask anything but some guys give me some cash for it.

Just this weekend gave 2 guildies a 20/19 string for his bow and a +30 hp axe mod, and some build tips.

Got a run from my guild leader when I started to yaks for free and then he game me 25k (seeing that he has 1mil), doing my 55hp monk I got 26k from another Team leader to help me out and now I just do the same in return.

Well, I think there is a bit of difference between someone just being generous and giving you stuff compared to being nice and helping you so I'd have to say it's just really nice when someone helps you when they really don't need what you'r after. I really only like to do PUG on missions/quests because I think henchies are boring and after struggling about 8 times in a row on "The Wilds" mission in Maguuma Jungle because of jerks, babies, quitters..etc I got into a group of where 4 of us were prophecies characters and 2 were from Nightfall. Sure enough, 3 of the Prophecies players left, but the 2 Nightfall guys stuck with it and helped me out even though they said they didn't need the mission. That is what I feel is nice as opposed to someone just giving you cool items. Sometimes I like to return the favor and just help out people in missions/quests even if I don't need it.

This happened last week. Someone scammed me with Jatoro's Letter in Seitung Harbour, giving me the letter from the Jade Sea quest. A minute later, he whispered me, telling me he had scammed me, and asked me to come back to him for a refund.

The nicest thing someone has ever done for me was...Well, this one person ran me to almost every mission! I went to pay him and he said, "there is no need to pay me." And before he left he said, "have a nice day."
That is pretty much it.

I have been playing Guild Wars steadly since the original retail launch. I have seen all sorts ofplayers some nice some not so nice. I have had random players give me things on quite a few occasions, and I always pass on the good luck. Currently as I have 2 accounts I will often be found in Ascalon or Shing Jea Monestary giving away weapons and shields that I will not use to those less fortunate. I will sometimes even hit old misssions and help out others to do them.

Nicest thing someone has done for me is running me for free to Yak's Bend (that was before I knew about Missions XD).

Thanks my good buddies Marana and Spynx.

I always wanted a Dracos flatbow However on an occasion PUG farming to get it, we got the weopon to drop but the person who it had dropped for was Err7 before he could pick it up, so i picked it up instead, however being the nice person i am i pmed the person when they came back online later on and gave him the weopon.

when i told a guildie this he took pity on me cause he knew how much i wanted that weopon (at the time it was the only green i wanted and i didnt have any for any char even though Factions was long out by that time) so he bought me one , yey, then after that i felt guilty for taking it since he spent alot of money to get it, so i went out for 3 months and eventually got one to drop for me and then gave it to him.

Then on another occasion i was given a Kuuvaang minipet because my other friend knew how much i love dragons and how i couldnt afford the collectors edition myself to get one. so he bought one and gave it to me. After this i gave him everything of value i could find for the next few weeks and helped him get Protector of Tryia on all 6 of his characters (since there was several bonus's he couldnt do)

When I was starting out with my warrior, guy helped us on the Ashes quest for free, and at the end whispered that he had a gift for me. A wonderful gold axe that I used for the rest of the game once I had the req for it. And it got me to giving away stuff too!

actually a few of these stories sound like things ive done for others but one of the nicest things that was done for me was a guy i was doing tombs with in my first experience of doing it. i waqs discussing with him that i was a sword warrior and was thinking of trying axe for the first time. he gave me a victos axe which i tried to give him a little bit of cash which he refused then he popped up the trade window again and asked me if i liked this eternal shield which was twice as good as the one i already had. he ended up giving them both to me for free. as for the free runs ive given out tons of them actually got mad at a guild mate for trying to charge people i ran once

Well... I always give out the 'toy' Istani and Shing Jea green items to new classes. I alse give out other green items when my alliance do not want them.

I also give to my alliance all the green/gold weapons I don't use.
I have no patience to sell things. Way to boring and time consuming.

My guildies are the kind of people that warns you if you buy something from us an pay too much.
Yesterday one of our members sold something to a guy, 3k was the price, but he put 6k in the trad window. Instead of taking the 3k the stuff, our member warned about it...

When my characters are in PreAscalon, I always play the 'guide' role and help people around. I don't think there's a spo there I dind where in, XD.

And of course, I always warn about scammers, like those pests trying to buy Imperial commendations or comercial contracts for 100gold.

And I always pick the ones without team when making th first missions with a character from another campaing.

I even gie away my heroes to newbies. Join them to party, exit to explorable, abnd leave. Two level 20 are better than 3 level 3, arent, they?
And I bet they love having my Spike heal tahlkora and my 10MM Master of Whispers, for the fisrt quests, XD

Guildies needed my help once, and didn't need me to play monk, I WAS SO HAPPY, then one of the two left, so I got on my monk, the other monk was terrible (just spammed HB and his energy 0 of 45 intermittently), but it was still a fun mission with 2 wammos in RoF, no one died!

Hmm well this one day in Kamadan me and some random guy were talking about collections we had, and one of mine was my black dyes. I was up to 65, had bought em before Nightfall and white dyes came out at 10k each, current price. Well the prices dropped to 8k each, meaning I lost 2k on each dye, about 130k. Remind you, I don't even know the guy I'm talking to, just picking up on general conversation that was already started. He says brb, goes to storage, comes back and gives me 100k... That's when I did a double take, first off because 100k isnt a small amount, and second because some people can still be very kind.

Just my little story.
